For the past few days, I have noticed an overwhelming number of posts, wishes, and advice on how to take care of ourselves during this busy season. The internet is full of guidance, suggestions, and tips on how to spend our time and communicate more meaningfully with loved ones.
Try to disconnect from this virtual world as much as you can and spend quality time with yourself—without checking your feeds, Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms.
Many of you use social media platforms for work and to communicate with friends and family, and it is somewhat normal to stay online. However, try to be more present with friends and family over the next following weeks and spend less time online; there will always be time to scroll and press the like button throughout the year.
Take a pleasant detox from technology. Live simply, beautifully, and without unnecessary virtual distractions. This is what I suggest: be in the present and scroll less.
