Small victories in December

This message isn’t about this year’s big achievements, job promotions, or shiny Instagram photos. It’s for you — the one who is quietly rebuilding after losing someone dear. For the one who had to start over in a new city, a new country, a new job, or even a new relationship. It’s for the one who has spent this year trying to regain balance after life put you through tough challenges.

Perhaps this year wasn’t about ticking off major goals but about getting out of bed on the hard days, showing up for yourself even when you didn’t feel like it, or finally taking a small step towards healing. Perhaps you’ve been through a breakup, recovered from an exhausting period, are living with a difficult diagnosis, or learnt how to breathe again after a tough time.

As December begins to unfold, we’ll see posts celebrating big accomplishments — and that’s brilliant! It’s inspiring and uplifting. But remember, it’s not always possible to excel, and that’s perfectly okay. Sometimes, simply surviving, staying on your feet, and trying again tomorrow is enough.

Don’t let others’ moments of glory on social media make you think that your victories don’t matter.🥰 They matter.🥰 Your story matters.🥰 Your progress, no matter how small, matters.

This month, give yourself permission to simply BE.Rest, reflect, and remember: you are enough, exactly as you are.

P.S.: There’s absolutely nothing wrong with celebrating our achievements, but there are already plenty of posts about ideal lives. Let’s normalise the small victories too.
